Doctor Y said that he would cure the Hamster. 4 days later Mrs. Johnson returned to find a perfectly healthy Hamster exactly like her old one. How did Doctor Y cure the Hamster.

The bronze door. It implies that the owner has the least money of the few because bronze is the cheapest of the metals. That implies that they have the the least amount of security. That implies that it would be the easiest to get into. Also, your hint tells me to think like I am the thief. I have never stolen anything or gotten into any security systems. So, I would want to try to get through the easiest security system of the three. So, I think that the thief went through the bronze door.
