After school, Loren, Marks crush, walked out of school, heading home. On the way home, she came across Mark. Mark was horribly mutated, and unrecognizable to Loren. Terrified, she screamed and ran as fast as she could to her house.
The real Mark, peering through the eyes of a monster, had lost the will to fight. He had given up fighting the virus, and the virus progressed faster. Seeing Loren, something ignited in him. He regained the will to live. He fought the virus and steadily gained ground. He drew out of the monster that had taken over him and became normal again.
