The loving abomination, part 2 by Daniel Wu

On the way to the gun shop, a police car came by, and, seeing blood on his face, handcuffed him and threw him in his car. Mark was brought to the police station and he was questioned, but he would not give any answers, for he had none.

They had a doctor come and take DNA samples and they confirmed the blood was from the nurse. But, they also discovered that there was something else in the blood. It wasn’t quite a virus, but it was acting like one. It was still alive, living outside a living body, which viruses and bacteria cannot do.
They also took a blood sample from Mark, but the samples were inconclusive, because the ‘virus’ had taken over and destroyed his DNA.

Before anything else could happen, Mark broke free of his steel restraints with inhuman strength and stole the baton of a police officer and attacked him. He let out a maniacal laugh and jumped out the second-story window, without even pausing to consider the consequences. He broke through the bulletproof glass like it was no more than a soft tofu. He landed on the ground and dropped to all fours and ran towards his school, hands and feet turning into claws and skin turning slimy and green, like an amphibians’.

Meanwhile, the nurse stepped outside her office and headed towards the principal’s office. The mutated virus inside her had taken complete control of her and had totally consumed her mind. She was enslaved to a powerful force no bigger than 200 nanometers in length.

Karin, noticing Mark’s absence, walked towards the nurse’s office, looking for Mark. At the office, she was terrified to find Mark missing and the blood with the virus. Before she could make a conscious decision, the mutated virus already had full control over her mind and killed her, adding her to the people who have fallen victim to the virus.
